I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Courtney and I am here to help you navigate and clarify the things going on in your life and in your mind.
Life can be messy and overwhelming, and my hope is that, together, we can figure out how to increase your quality of life and be able to find beauty, love, and compassion for self and others.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), serving individuals in or around Cartersville, GA. Over the past six years, I have worked collaboratively with those who are dealing with mental health and/or substance use concerns. Most recently, my work has been focused around people in recovery, those working through life transitions (including divorce and parenthood) , and those involved with the criminal justice system. I am an ally of the LGBTIQ community and I practice trauma-informed and culturally-competent care using primarily person-centered and cognitive-behavioral approaches. I partner with several community resources to help provide services to those who are typically underserved. My biggest hope is that you are seen and heard during our time together as we work toward meeting your goals and toward living a life of authenticity.
When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and raising my children. I also enjoy loving on my fur babies, being outside, and reading. I love to travel and visit new places, and I have a love for learning new things and discussing important issues.
I am excited to get to know you. Hang in there and we will get through your struggles together.
